Juan Lembeye Nature Center

On the shores of the Burgo estuary, it is a refuge of biodiversity and learning, where nature flourishes in the heart of the urban environment.

Trátase dun espazo privilexiado para a educación ambiental e a observación da biodiversidade. Situado na contorna da ría do Burgo, en Culleredo, este xardín botánico abrangue aproximadamente 50.000 metros cadrados e acolle unha ampla variedade de especies autóctonas e alóctonas.

Este entorno da ría do Burgo é un enclave que acolle durante todo o ano máis de 2.500 aves acuáticas de diversas especies, moitas delas migratorias. A súa localización nun contorno urbano e a súa riqueza ornitolóxica convérteno nun lugar idóneo para a observación de aves sen afastarse da cidade.

Este espazo forma parte da Rede de Centros de Interpretación da Reserva de Biosfera Mariñas Coruñesas, comprometida coa conservación e divulgación do patrimonio natural, cultural e etnográfico desta Reserva de Biosfera.
