María Antonia Dans House Museum

Celebrate art and memory, paying homage to a pioneer of Galician neo-expressionism from the very heart of her inspiration.

A casa

A primeira casa en Galicia dedicada a unha pintora. Inaugurada en marzo de 2024 en Curtis, este espazo rende homenaxe a María Antonia Dans Boado (1922-1988), unha das grandes figuras do neoexpresionismo galego, coñecida polas súas vibrantes representacións da paisaxe e da vida rural.

Situado na casa onde naceu a artista, o museo foi restaurado respectando a súa estrutura orixinal. Na planta baixa consérvanse o comedor e a cociña con mobiliario da época, mentres que na planta superior atópase a luminosa galería onde traballaba, cunha selección das súas obras. No exterior, pódese visitar o estudo da súa filla, Rosalía Dans, tamén artista.

Esta Casa Museo forma parte da Rede de Centros de Interpretación da Reserva de Biosfera Mariñas Coruñesas, sumando a arte e a cultura ao valioso patrimonio natural e etnográfico da Reserva de Biosfera.
