In the heart of Betanzos, bringing Galician history and culture to life, proudly celebrating our identity and legacy in the heart of the Biosphere Reserve.

O Museo

O Museo das Mariñas é un espazo emblemático no corazón de Betanzos, onde a historia, a cultura e o patrimonio da nosa terra cobran vida. Ubicado no antigo convento de Santo Domingo, este museo é un testimonio da riqueza histórica e etnográfica da comarca, ofrecendo un recorrido fascinante pola identidade galega.

Entre os seus principais atractivos, o museo alberga unha extensa colección de arte sacro, pezas arqueolóxicas, elementos etnográficos e unha valiosa mostra de traxes tradicionais e oficios antigos.

O Museo das Mariñas forma parte da nova Rede de Centros de Interpretación da Reserva de Biosfera Mariñas Coruñesas, un compromiso coa conservación e divulgación do patrimonio natural, cultural e etnográfico desta Reserva de Biosfera.
