It transports us to the origins of Galician hill forts, revealing the traces of an ancient culture that still lives in our identity.

A Sala da Colección Museográfica do Castro das Travesas, en Carral, trátase da historia máis antiga da nosa terra. Este espazo ofrece un apasionante percorrido polo pasado castrexo de Galicia, un legado que nos conecta coas raíces da nosa cultura e a nosa identidade.

Aquí poderedes coñecer os hallazgos arqueolóxicos extraídos do Castro das Travesas, un dos asentamentos máis relevantes da Iade do Ferro na Reserva de Biosfera Mariñas Coruñesas. A través de útiles da vida cotidiá e outros vestixios, esta colección permítenos imaxinar cómo vivían as comunidades castrexas que poboaron este territorio fai máis de dous mil anos.

Este espazo forma parte da Rede de Centros de Interpretación da Reserva de Biosfera Mariñas Coruñesas, contribuíndo á divulgación e conservación do patrimonio histórico e cultural desta Reserva de Biosfera.
