MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
GDR 23 MARIÑAS BETANZOS ASSOCIATION
1. All legally constituted groups, associations, or entities may become members of the Association. Natural persons and commercial companies cannot be part of the association, except for the following social economy entities: cooperatives, agricultural transformation societies, and labor societies.
2. The documentation to be submitted, in accordance with the Association’s Statutes, is:
- Application form duly completed, addressed to the President of the Association, stating the intention to join the entity and explaining the reasons (ANNEX I). Letter of recommendation from a member of the Mariñas-Betanzos Association who belongs to the same group.
- Certificate of representation in the Mariñas Betanzos Rural Development Association; the Board of Directors of the associated entity must appoint a primary representative and an alternate to attend the various meetings that may arise in the GDR. (ANNEX II).
- Certified copy of the Founding Act of your entity.
- Certified copy of the Statutes and/or public deed, if applicable.
- Certified copy of proof of registration in the corresponding Registry.
- Certified copy of the Tax Identification Card.
- Report of the entity's activities in the last two years.
(Documentation is certified free of charge at the Association’s headquarters, upon presentation of original documents).
- When a candidate for membership does not have their registered office in the area of operation, they must demonstrate that they carry out a relevant and consolidated activity over time in said territorial area. (Submit a report of activities for the last two years).
- Entities with a registered office in the area of operation must prove at least one year of activity.
- The President will forward the application to the Board of Directors.
- If deficiencies are observed in the documentation submitted, and prior to issuing the report, the President will require the interested entity to correct it within a period of ten working days, after which, if not rectified, the application will be considered rejected, with the President issuing the corresponding resolution.
- The Board of Directors will approve or deny the request within a period not exceeding two months, counted from the day of submission to the Association's Registry.
- The Board of Directors will assign the applicant entity to one of the sectoral tables, according to their preferred interest.
- If the application is denied, the applicant entity may appeal to the FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY to be held: (Written request to the Board of Directors) where their admission request will be included in the Agenda of said Assembly.
- The status of associated entity will not be acquired until the entrance fee, which will be established by the General Assembly, is paid (there is currently no entrance fee).
