Biosphere Restaurants

In 2019, training was conducted and the first group of Biosphere Restaurants was evaluated. These are restaurants that meet a series of requirements related to quality and professionalization, facilities and services, good environmental management, use of raw materials from the territory, and are also involved in the training offered by the Biosphere Reserve and in the continuous improvement of their establishments.

As a result of this work with the sector, the Biosphere Reserve Ecotourism Association was established in 2019, formed by entrepreneurs from the tourism sector. This notably improved public-private collaboration and participation in tourism planning for this area.
