Towards Carbon Neutrality

Sales of electric vehicles continue to grow. It is expected that by 2030, more than 50% of cars in Europe will be electric.

Electric vehicles do not generate CO₂ emissions during their use, which contributes to mitigating climate change and reducing pollution.

The Mariñas Coruñesas Biosphere Reserve has created the BIOSPHERE ECO NETWORK with fast charging points and 100% renewable energy, a pioneering initiative to advance towards carbon neutrality throughout the Reserve. Another step within our Tourism Sustainability Plan.
