Leader Cooperation (2022-2023)

The general objective of the formulated cooperation project is to contribute to the development of the wine sector in the territories.

To achieve this general objective, five objectives are defined:

Specific Objective 1.- Analysis of the current situation of the farms and the growth capacity of the vineyard area, identifying suitable zones for the application of some instrument of the Galician Agricultural Land Recovery Law.

Specific Objective 2.- Evaluation of emerging and environmentally sustainable strategies for pest control in crops (Asian hornet, birds, wild boar).

Specific Objective 3.- Evaluation of alternative crops for unused agricultural lands in the territories participating in the cooperation project.

Specific Objective 4.- Encourage the emergence of new producers and disseminate the project, its objectives and results among the sectors and the local community.
