The project is an initiative that will support young people interested in taking advantage of the opportunities offered by rural areas to develop their professional and personal projects, including those specific to these areas and others. Through various activities, entrepreneurship and business initiative are promoted, connecting rural businesses with young talent, coordinating and creating networks between public administrations, companies, educational centers, and universities to retain and/or facilitate the return of young talent to rural territories.
O.1.- The main objective of the project is to promote and facilitate the return and labor integration of young people in rural areas. This way, the rural economy is revitalized, promoting the revitalization and diversification of economic activities in rural areas. Thus, we ensure the continuity of the created Network, given its vocation to provide continuity and permanence over time to the services it develops.
O.1.1.- Consider the socioeconomic peculiarities of each region, their resources, and especially the different agents working with entrepreneurship, youth, and the agricultural sector, establishing a collaboration network to promote labor integration.
O.1.2.- Offer an internship and company placement service in the territories that, on one hand, enhances young people’s professional skills and facilitates their access to the labor market through contact with companies, and on the other hand, provides interested individuals the opportunity to gain experience and demonstrate their worth as farm owners.
O.1.3.- Contribute to improving knowledge of the current rural world, promoting attractive and quality living conditions for young people.
O.2.- Promote the incorporation of young people into the agricultural sector, collaborating in the promotion of agroecological transition and seasonal change. Thus contributing to climate change mitigation, food sovereignty and local consumption, and in general, enhancing the sector’s role in the sustainable use of natural resources, preparing it for the period of greatest growth.
O.2.1.- Prioritize, through the NETWORK, animation services, recruitment and implementation of non-rural people, especially considering agricultural activities as the most resilient for rural areas.
O.2.2.- Identify an Opportunities Bank for each LAG available for two service users. Succession farms, idle facilities, and especially different lands and surfaces, suitable for revitalization through two territorial mobility instruments contemplated in the Galician Agricultural Land Recovery Law.
