EDUCATING IN THE BIOSPHERE
Educating is a program of activities to be developed with the school community. It is presented as a non-formal learning initiative in various fields, closely connected with the objectives of the Biosphere Reserve, in order to stimulate creativity and youth potential in the processes of analysis and practical application of acquired knowledge, to become involved within a sustainable space in terms of innovation and social well-being.
This program of activities to be developed with the school community is aimed at Early Childhood and Primary Education Centers (CEIP) and Secondary Education Institutes (IES) in the municipalities that are part of the Mariñas Coruñesas Biosphere Reserve. It is presented as a non-formal learning initiative in different fields.
The themes offered within the program are encompassed within 6 training packages defined according to the topics addressed in each of them:
- Healthy eating and local products.
- Art and cultural heritage.
- Promotion of biodiversity.
- Equality and social sciences.
- Nature and territory.
- Climate change and resource sustainability.
